Dr. Kari Cleland DDS

Dr. Kari Cleland is a highly skilled dental anesthesiologist with specialized expertise in office-based anesthesia. She holds dual board certifications from the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ADBA) and the National Dental Board of Anesthesia (NDBA).

Dr. Cleland completed a rigorous three-year anesthesia residency at Jacobi Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, where she gained extensive experience administering anesthesia across a wide range of surgical specialties, including trauma, burn, neurosurgical, bariatric, thoracic, neonatal, and oral and maxillofacial procedures. Her training also included adult and pediatric emergency medicine, special needs care, and advanced airway management in both hospital and office-based settings.

She further expanded her expertise in chronic head and neck pain through advanced training at the Columbia University Orofacial Pain Clinic. From 2020 to 2021, she worked in an independent COVID ICU/Step-Down Unit at Jacobi Medical Center, enhancing her critical care experience.

Dr. Cleland maintains current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care across diverse clinical environments.
